The fourth installment of the International League T20 (ILT20) is gearing up for its player auction, scheduled for September 30 in Dubai. Coming just days after the Asia Cup wraps up in the UAE, this auction represents a pivotal moment for teams as they finalize their rosters for the upcoming season.

ILT20 CEO David White shared his enthusiasm, stating, "We are thrilled to confirm the DP World International League Season 4 Player Auction date—Tuesday, September 30. This auction serves as a major milestone for the league, marking our continued evolution into a world-class T20 tournament. It offers a fantastic opportunity for our franchises to bolster their Season 4 squads with both local and international talent."

Player selection saw its initial phase completed earlier this month, with each team securing eight players in total. The tournament itself is set to kick off on December 2, strategically aligning with UAE National Day. The grand finale will take place on January 4, 2026, following a total of 34 matches.

The six franchises participating in the ILT20 2025 auction will operate with a combined purse of USD 4.8 million. White further emphasized, "For UAE players, the ACC Asia Cup 2025, running from September 9 to 28 within the UAE, presents a significant chance to create a global impact just before the Player Auction. Players will gain remarkable exposure during this continental championship, facing off against some of the world's top-ranked T20 teams."
