Moeen Ali is an English cricketer and all-rounder born on June 18, 1987, in Birmingham, who bats left-handed and bowls right-arm off-spin. He plays for England, Warwickshire, and Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL), and has represented various other teams internationally and in domestic leagues. His professional career includes winning the 2019 ODI World Cup and 2022 T20 World Cup, and he formerly served as the limited-overs vice-captain for England. 

Moeen Ali played for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2025 season, but he opted out of the rest of the tournament due to personal reasons. Beside, Moeen Ali retired from international cricket in September 2024.
