Shai Hope: A cricketer’s journey to success and awards
Shai Hope is a Barbadian wicketkeeper-batsman for the West Indies, known for his prolific run-scoring, especially in ODIs. He captained the ODI team and became the T20I captain in 2025. In 2025, he made a comeback to the Test side, breaking an eight-year drought with a century against India in October. Hope's 2025 season also included a century in the ILT20 and a new contract for the 2025 PSL with Multan Sultans, though he went unsold at the IPL auction.
