Rohit Sharma Breaks 487-Day Century Drought, Climbs Record Charts Ahead of Champions Trophy

Rohit Sharma's Record-Breaking Century Stuns EnglandThe star Indian captain Rohit Sharma has returned to his form after nearly 4 months with a record-breaking century in the second ODI against England at the Barabati International Stadium. This was Rohit’s second-fastest ODI hundred.

Rohit reached his 32nd ODI century in just 76 balls, with an impressive strike rate of 134.2. His amazing knock included 7 sixes and 9 fours. He brought up his hundred with a lofted shot over mid-on off leg-spinner Adil Rashid in the 26th over.

5 Shikhar Dhawan 10,867

Rohit now has the third-most centuries in ODI history. However, he missed a big milestone as he fell 13 runs short of completing 11,000 ODI runs. If he had reached the mark, he would have been only the fourth Indian batter to do so.
