Top 3 Players Who Can Replace Rachin Ravindra in CSK’s IPL 2025 Squad
New Zealand all-rounder Rachin Ravindra got badly injured while fielding in the ODI Tri-Nation Series match against Pakistan at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The injury happened in the 38th over when Khushdil Shah played a slog-sweep.
Rachin, who was at deep square leg, lost sight of the ball, and it hit him directly on the face, causing heavy bleeding. The medical team rushed in, and he was taken off the field immediately. The full details of his injury are not yet known.
Who Can Replace Rachin Ravindra in IPL 2025?
If Rachin takes time to recover and misses IPL 2025, these three players could be his possible replacements in CSK.
1. Daryl Mitchell
The star New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell is a good option for CSK, having been part of their IPL 2024 squad. Daryl Mitchell has scored 318 runs in 13 matches which includes two half-centuries.
In his IPL career, he has scored 351 runs in 15 innings at an impressive strike rate of 131.46. His all-round skills and ability to play in multiple batting positions make him a better replacement for Rachin.
2. Sikandar Raza
The Zimbabwe star all-rounder Sikandar Raza is a better option with IPL experience to replace Rachin Ravindra. Raza has played for the Punjab Kings in 2023. He scored 139 runs in seven matches, including a match-winning 57 against Lucknow Super Giants, and took three wickets.
Sikandar Raza has scored 182 IPL runs and took three wickets in his nine innings. He can contribute to the team with both bat and ball.
