Kuldeep Yadav Gears Up for Ranji Trophy 2025 Match Against Madhya Pradesh

The Indian star spinner Kuldeep Yadav is set to play in the Ranji Trophy 2025. On January 29, the Uttar Pradesh has named an 18-member squad with Kuldeep Yadav for the match against Madhya Pradesh. Kuldeep Yadav had to miss the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia due to a hernia injury. 

He underwent surgery for his injury and worked hard to recover at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. After regaining full fitness, Keldeep is set to return in the final league of the Ranji Trophy 2025. Kuldeep Yadav has also secured a spot in the Indian squad for the Champions Trophy 2025 and the upcoming three-match ODI series against England.

Madhya Pradesh’s Strong Batting Lineup to Challenge Kuldeep Yadav

The Ranji match against Madhya Pradesh will test his fitness and serve as a confidence booster before the international games. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh has a strong batting lineup with stars like Rajat Patidar, Venkatesh Iyer, and Shubham Sharma among others in the squad. It will be tough competition for Kuldeep Yadav and help him prepare well before the international matches against big teams.

Virat Kohli Returns to Ranji Trophy After 10 Years

Apart from Kuldeep, several other star international players will be playing in this Ranji Trophy round on January 30. The experienced star batter Virat Kohli is also playing for Delhi. Kohli has already attended the practice season with his teammates and is set to play his Ranji Trophy match after 10 years. 

KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, and Riyan Parag will also feature in this Ranji round to represent their state teams. KL Rahul will play for Karnataka, Jadeja is set to play for Saurashtra and Parag will lead the Assam in Rajkot. Jadeja was in excellent form in his last Ranji match taking 12 wickets with his amazing bowling skills. It is a great sign for team India ahead of the Champions Trophy.
