Robin Uthappa Responds to EPF Fraud Allegations After Arrest Warrant Is Halted

Robin Uthappa, who used to play cricket for India, is in trouble because people say he was tinkering with the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) fraud material. The cops in Pulakeshinagar got orders to apprehend him based on a warrant. The entire conflict started because Shadakshari Gopal Reddy, who's in charge of PF regionally, issued the arrest warrant on December 21. But there's a surprise the Karnataka High Court has put everything on hold, meaning they can't arrest him for now.
On December 4, Commissioner Reddy told the cops to arrest Uthappa, but they couldn't find him. They were supposed to catch him because he didn't give the provident fund money that was taken from the workers' pay at Centuries Lifestyle Brand Private Limited, the location he worked at. The problem was regarding a strikingly large sum, 23 lakh rupees, that didn't get to where it was supposed to go.
The cops had to return to the PF office with the arrest warrant since they couldn't find Uthappa at his location in Pulakeshinagar. Uthappa was expected to be in Pulakeshinagar, but he wasn't there when the police came to take him to jail. The PF office people mentioned they attempted to deliver the warrant on December 4, but failed because Uthappa had already left his Pulakeshinagar place.
Uthappa had an argument and said he did not take part in running the everyday operations for Berryz Fashion House, Centaurus Lifestyle Brands Pvt. Ltd., and Strawberry Lenceria Pvt. Ltd. He explained his links to those companies.
In an Instagram post, Uthappa spelled out what's been going on. He said "I want to explain things regarding the recent PF case against me. I only became involved with these companies as a director because I loaned them money in 2018-19". But he made sure everyone knew that what he did was very small. Uthappa said that they made him a director in these firms in 2018-19 because he helped them out with some money loans.
"I've been extremely busy with cricket, being on TV, and speaking sports, that I really haven't been directly involved with the daily activities and content going on at these companies I gave money to. I want to make it clear that up to now, I haven't really been the one leading at any of these businesses". he mentioned in his Instagram post
