"India to Clinch Victory Post-Lunch": Washington Sundar's Bold Prediction for the 3rd Test at Lord's
As the fourth day of the third Test at Lord's drew to a close, the Indian cricket team found themselves in a precarious yet hopeful position. Chasing a target of 193 runs, the visitors lost four wickets, with only 58 runs on the board. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Karun Nair, Shubman Gill, and night watchman Akash Deep were dismissed by the English bowlers. With 135 runs still needed to secure a 2-1 lead in the five-match series, the stage was set for a dramatic final day.

Washington Sundar, the Indian all-rounder, exuded confidence despite the challenging situation. Speaking to Sky Sports, he smiled and boldly predicted, "Definitely India winning tomorrow. Just after lunch." He then added more seriously, "The position we are in right now, we would have taken. Maybe one down would be ideal."

KL Rahul, the opening batter, will resume on the last day with a score of 33. However, the ball, having seen 17.4 overs, is still favoring the bowlers. England's bowlers, led by Jofra Archer and Brydon Carse, had a successful day, with Archer dismissing Jaiswal and Carse taking out Nair and Gill. England captain Ben Stokes also contributed by clean bowling Akash Deep. In total, 14 wickets fell on Day 4.

Earlier in the day, England were bowled out for 192 in their second innings. Washington Sundar was the standout performer, taking four wickets. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj added two wickets each to their tally. "They were all big wickets, especially at that stage of play," Sundar remarked. He also noted the difference in conditions, saying, "The UK has been kind; I don't get as much drift in subcontinent conditions."

England batting coach Marcus Trescothick commented on the pitch, telling the BBC, "When the ball gets a little bit softer, there are more runs to be had, but if you get it in the right place, the pitch is very tricky." He added, "It'll come down to who holds the pressure best tomorrow."
