PSL 11: Islamabad United trade Mohammad Wasim Jr to Multan Sultans

PSL 11: Islamabad United trade Mohammad Wasim Jr to Multan SultansMohammad Wasim Jr, who was bought by Islamabad United for PKR 42 million during the auction, has been traded to Multan Sultans in exchange for two players.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) earlier opened a one-week trade window, allowing all eight franchises to make Player-for-Player, Player-for-Money, and Player-for-Player-and-Money trades.

In return, Islamabad will get pacer Salman Mirza and young batter Nisar Ahmed. Salman was one of the Sultans' (then known as Sialkot Stallionz) retainers ahead of the auction, and the franchise spent PKR 39.2 million on him.

Nisar, on the other hand, was bought following the auction by the Stallionz management, only to be released later by the incoming owners. However, the young player was roped in again by the Sultans just a day before he was traded to United.
