Major League Cricket Season 4 2026 Dates Announced: June 18 to July 18

The fourth season of Major League Cricket (MLC) will run from June 18 to July 18, 2026. Six teams will take part, playing a total of 34 matches following the same format as last season. Even though the dates for Season 4 have been announced, USA Cricket (USAC) has not yet said whether it has canceled the termination of its contract with American Cricket Enterprises (ACE), the league’s owners.

The situation has left USA players worried, according to Corey Anderson, the operations director of the USA Cricketers' Association, which is not officially recognised by USAC. Starting in 2025, MLC takes place in June-July to avoid overlapping with other leagues allowing more top players to join. The tournament expanded from 19 matches in 2023 to 34 matches today.

"Season 3 showed that demand for top-tier cricket in the USA is real and accelerating. MLC is winning new fans, followers and viewers throughout the USA and around the world. We're delivering on our promise to grow the game across the USA and build relations with new and existing commercial partners." Johnny Grave, MLC chief executive, said in a statement.

MLC Plans Expansion with Ten World-Class Cricket Stadiums by 2030

MLC is planning to have ten top-quality cricket stadiums by 2030, with over US$150 million already set aside for it. Right now, the league has six teams – Los Angeles Knight Riders, MI New York, San Francisco Unicorns, Seattle Orcas, Texas Super Kings and Washington Freedom. They’re also looking to add two more teams by 2027 and might even bring cricket to Canada!

In 2025, MI New York took home their second title in three years, beating Washington Freedom by just five runs in an exciting final.
