The Texas Super Kings are an American professional Twenty20 cricket team that competes in Major League Cricket (MLC). The team is based in Dallas, Texas and was announced in 2023 as one of teams to play in the innaugral season of Major League Cricket. The team has a minor league affiliate – the Dallas Mustangs. The franchise is co-owned by the Chennai
Super Kings, Ross Perot Jr., and Anurag Jain.
Shortly before the launch of the official season, it was announced the MLC’s inaugural domestic draft would take place on March 19, 2023. The Super Kings had the final pick of the first-round draft and picked Rusty Theron. Throughout the draft, the team then added players Sami Aslam, Calvin Savage, and Milind Kumar. In June 2023, the Super Kings announced 7 of their 9 overseas signings, which included Ambati Rayudu, Devon Conway, and Dwayne Bravo. In addition, they also announced their full support staff lineup, including Albie Morkel and Eric Simons, among others.
The team revealed that former South African skipper, Faf du Plessis, will be the captain of the team . On July 5, the Super Kings announced that Mohammad Mohsin was selected as their Domestic Wildcard Pick. A few days later, it was learnt that Rayudu had to withdraw from the tournament due to BCCI’s proposal of a year-long “cooling-off period” for recentlyretired players. It was then stated that Imran Tahir would take Rayudu’s place in the squad.
The team’s home ground is the Grand Prairie Stadium, located in Grand Prairie, Texas. The stadium has a seating capacity of 7,200 – but it can expanded to seat 15,000 for major events. The team is coached by Stephen Fleming, who also serves as head coach for the Chennai Super Kings and the Joburg Super Kings, and is captained by former South African captain Faf du Plessis.

The Texas Super Kings have not won any major trophies to date, but they have consistently reached the playoffs in the Major League Cricket (MLC) tournament. The team has made it to the playoffs in both of the league's seasons but has yet to reach the final.
