The MI New York is a franchise Twenty20 cricket team based in New York, New York State that plays in the Major League Cricket (MLC). It was founded in 2023 by the Indiawin Sports,
which also owns Mumbai Indians. MINY has a minor league affiliate – Manhattan Yorkers, which competes in the Minor League Cricket (MiLC).
The team plans to build their homeground in the Marine Park with an expected capacity of 10,000. Until then, the team will be playing all of their matches of the in the Grand Prairie stadium in Texas.
The first ever MLC draft was held on March 19, 2023 in Houston. MINY picked American Batter Steven Taylor as their first draft pick. They Won the first-ever MLC Championship in 2023. In last season (2025 MLC season), under the captain Nicholas Pooran's leadership, they secured their second title by defeating Washington Freedom in a thrilling final. MI New York is the only team to have won the MLC title twice.
