Focus on the ICC Champions Trophy
Shukla also revealed that a meeting to finalize India’s squad for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy will take place on January 18 or 19. “The meeting will happen on January 18 or 19,” he said.
The deadline for every team to announce their squads was January 12, decided by the ICC, but India is taking some extra time. Meanwhile, teams from England, New Zealand, and Bangladesh have already got their squads sorted for the tournament.
India's first game in the Champions Trophy is going to be against Bangladesh in Dubai, happening on February 20. And the Indian team will face Pakistan on February 23 and then they're playing against New Zealand on March 2. All the Indian team group stage matches are set to take place in Dubai.
