India and England are set to play a three-match ODI series against each other just before the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which is their final preparation for the prestigious tournament. After a five-match T20 Series, India defeated England by 4-1. In the fifth T20, India defeated England by over 150 runs, as the star T20 batter and Opener for India, Abhishek Sharma, scored a mind-blowing century.

This three-match ODI series will give India much-needed practice in the one-day international format. India has played fewer than 10 ODIs since the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, which took place from October to November 2023. The ODI series will also see the comeback of star players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in action before the Champions Trophy.
