ICC Chairman Jay Shah Invites Lionel Messi to India vs USA T20 World Cup 2026 Match
International Cricket Council chairman Jay Shah was in attendance at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Monday, December 15, as Lionel Messi’s GOAT Tour continued. He met the football superstar at the iconic stadium in Delhi and invited him to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 match between India and the USA.
He handed over the match ticket to Messi and also a customised jersey of the Indian cricket team to him and Luis Suárez, and Rodrigo de Paul. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 match between India and the USA will be held at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on February 7.
India will take on Namibia in their second Group A match at Arun Jaitley Stadium on February 12, Pakistan at Colombo’s R. Premadasa Stadium on February 15, and the Netherlands at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on February 18.
