A magnificent batting performance from Amanjot and Harmanpreet has taken the Mumbai Indians to their 2nd win of the season as they take down the Gujarat Giants by 7 wickets at the DY Patil Stadium. Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and elected to field first. Wonderful batting displays from Georgia Wareham (43* off 33), Bharti Fulmali (36* off 15) and Kanika Ahuja (35 off 18) helped Gujarat Giants deposit a big total of 192/5 on the board.

Chasing the big score, MI lost G Kamalini (13 off 12) early in the chase to Renuka Singh Thakur thanks to a smart stumping from Beth Mooney. Hayley Matthews looked to get off to a brilliant start, hitting 3 fours and a six in her 12-ball 22, but Kashvee Gautam changed ends in her second spell and sent the Windies batter back.
