T20 World Cup 2026: Nepal Scheduled to Play Two Warm-Up Matches Against Mumbai

The Nepal national cricket team is preparing for the ICC T20 World Cup with a structured two-phase training and practice plan. After holding their domestic camp, the Nepali cricket team will travel to Sri Lanka where they will compete against the Sri Lanka 'A' team in three T20 matches on January 20, 22 and 24. As a part of this preparation, the cricket team will also conduct practice sessions in Sri Lanka on January 19, 21 and 23.

After that, the Nepal national team will travel to India to play two T20 practice matches against the MCA President's XI cricket team. The first match will take place in the day on January 29 and the second match will take place as a day-night match on January 31 at CCI Ground.

The Nepal cricket team will have another two practice sessions on January 27 and 28 while in India. Nepal will begin their campaign at the ICC T20 World Cup being co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka on February 7th and will play England in their first match on February 8th.
