 BCCI Announces Rs 5 Crore Cash Prize for India U19 Women's T20 World Cup VictoryThe young and talented Indian U19 women's team, led by the star all-rounder Niki Prasad, defeated South Africa by nine wickets in the ICC U19 Women's T20 final to defend their U19 Women's T20 World Cup title in Malaysia. The strong Indian team remained unbeaten throughout the T20 World Cup tournament. Trisha Gongadi was an all-rounder performer, scoring 309 runs and finishing with a match-winning three-wicket haul and an unbeaten 44 in the final against South Africa Women's.

The Indian won the ICC U19 Women's T20 On February 2, marking their second consecutive U19 Women’s T20 World Cup victory. Trisha Gongadi’s all-round performance helped India to win the title, and the Indian team now holds both titles since the tournament began.

The BCCI has announced the reward of 5 core rupees for the entire Indian team and team staff for their amazing achievement in the cricket World. BCCI in a statement said."The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) extends its heartfelt congratulations to the India Under-19 women's team for successfully defending their title at the ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025 in Malaysia. To honour this remarkable achievement, the BCCI has announced a cash reward of INR 5 crore for the victorious squad and support staff, led by head coach Nooshin Al Khadeer," 

Vaishnavi Sharma, Aayushi Shukla, and Parunika Sisodiya also played key roles with the ball in this tournament. Some players from the Indian squad are set to feature in the upcoming Women’s Premier League (WPL), which will kick off on February 14.
