BCCI Announces Rs 5 Crore Cash Prize for India U19 Women's T20 World Cup Victory
The young and talented Indian U19 women's team, led by the star all-rounder Niki Prasad, defeated South Africa by nine wickets in the ICC U19 Women's T20 final to defend their U19 Women's T20 World Cup title in Malaysia. The strong Indian team remained unbeaten throughout the T20 World Cup tournament. Trisha Gongadi was an all-rounder performer, scoring 309 runs and finishing with a match-winning three-wicket haul and an unbeaten 44 in the final against South Africa Women's.
The Indian won the ICC U19 Women's T20 On February 2, marking their second consecutive U19 Women’s T20 World Cup victory. Trisha Gongadi’s all-round performance helped India to win the title, and the Indian team now holds both titles since the tournament began.
