Afghanistan National Cricket Team

The Afghanistan men’s national cricket team, known as the Afghan Atalans, is currently competing in the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka. Following a historic semi-final finish in the 2024 edition, they enter the 2026 tournament as serious contenders rather than underdogs. Led by captain Rashid Khan, the team recently completed a successful warm-up phase with back-to-back victories against Scotland and the West Indies in February 2026.
