Ben Lister Replaces Injured Kristian Clarke for New Zealand Bangladesh Tour

New Zealand have added left-arm fast bowler Ben Lister to their ODI and T20 teams for the Bangladesh tour. He comes in because Kristian Clarke is injured and cannot play. Clarke suffered a laceration to the webbing of his right hand while attempting a catch for New Zealand A in their one-day match against Sri Lanka A earlier this week.

Ben Lister, who is currently with the New Zealand A team in Sri Lanka, will join the squad in Bangladesh on Sunday. The ODI series will start on Friday in Mirpur. He has not featured for the national side in over two years. Meanwhile, fast bowler Ben Sears will miss the ODI leg of the tour after signing as a late replacement for Rawalpindiz in the Pakistan Super League.
He will not be replaced in the ODI squad and is set to join the team for the T20I series, which starts in Chattogram on April 30. The New Zealand also said in the media release that the squad is scheduled to depart for Bangladesh on Monday (April 13).
