New Zealand coaches Ronchi and Oram to leave for PSL despite international commitments

Luke Ronchi (New Zealand’s batting coach) and Jacob Oram (bowling coach) will join their Pakistan Super League (PSL) side, Islamabad United, for the upcoming edition, despite international commitments. Ronchi was appointed as Islamabad's head coach in January, and Oram will be one of his assistants for the franchise.
Excused from international duty
New Zealand are scheduled to host South Africa for a T20I tour in March, followed by a white-ball tour of Bangladesh in April. But with the PSL, which begins on March 26, clashing with both series, the coaches have been excused by New Zealand Cricket (NZC).
"This is a great chance for Luke and Jake to further their coaching experience and grow their skills outside of the New Zealand cricket environment," New Zealand performance manager Mike Sandle said.
"Just like our players, our coaches are in demand around the world, and we believe Luke and Jake will not only personally benefit from their time at the PSL, but they will also be able to bring back knowledge and IP that can aid the Black Caps and NZC in the future."
Who will join New Zealand in their absence?
In their absence, New Zealand will take the services of Wellington coach Jonny Bassett-Graham and NZC network coach Graeme Aldridge for the South Africa series, while Brendon Donkers will fill in during the Bangladesh tour.
