India Tour of Ireland 2026: Men in Blue to Face Ireland in 2 T20Is Before England Series

The Indian cricket teams schedule has been confirmed for 2026. Before visiting England, the BCCI has scheduled a short tour to Ireland. India is scheduled to play two T20I Matches against Ireland on June 26 and June 28. The team will then head to England to play a series of 5 T20 Matches and 3 One-Day Matches. Cricket Ireland confirmed on March 20 that India will play two T20 international matches against Ireland in Stormont, Belfast on 26th and 28th June.
After visiting Belfast for a tour in 2007, this will be the first tour of the Indian team in Belfast and will be the first T20 international assignment of the T20 World Champions as well. The last time India visited Ireland was during the T20I Series held in 2023 where they beat Ireland by 2-0 in three matches. Paul Stirling has stepped down as captain, so Ireland will have a new T20I captain for this series.
There may be rest for some of India's regular T20 players, which will provide a chance to some of the best performers from IPL 2026. After the IPL concludes on May 31, the Indian cricket team will face Afghanistan in Test cricket, followed by the T20I Series against Ireland and finally will play India Sri Lanka in 3 match one day series.
