WTC 2025-27 Cycle Fixtures, Details about All Teams Away and Home Series.

Just as the World's Test Championship 2023-25 Cycle is about to end, we have got to know about the fixtures of WTC 2025-27 cycle details. All nine teams will play three series at home while three away. 

To increase interest in test cricket, ICC started the world's test Championship in 2019. In the first cycle of 2019-23, India and New Zealand reached the finals, where New Zealand defeated India. In the second edition of the World Test Championship cycle, Australia defeated India to become the winner.

The home and away series details of all the teams for the cycle 2025- 27 are as follows. 

Australia 

Australia, the current World Test Championship winner, will play three of its home series against New Zealand, England, and Bangladesh. The team will also play its away matches against India, the West Indies, and South Africa. Since the current Border-Gavaskar Trophy is being played in Australia, the next edition of this prestigious trophy will be held in India.

Bangladesh 

Bangladesh will play its home series against England, West Indies and Pakistan while it will play its away matches against Australia, South Africa and Sri Lanka. 

England 

England will play home games against New Zealand, India and Pakistan, while it will play away games against Australia, South Africa and Bangladesh. After the completion of the current Border-Gavaskar trophy, India's next test assignment will be against England next summer. The prestigious Ashes series will be played in Australia in this cycle. 

India

India will play its home series against West Indies, South Africa and Australia in the Border Gavaskar trophy. India will play its first home series against South Africa since the shameful clean sweep from New Zealand this year. For its away assignments, India will play in New Zealand, England, and Sri Lanka.

New Zealand 

New Zealand will play its home series against India, West Indies, and Sri Lanka, as well as an away series against Australia, England, and Pakistan.

Pakistan 

Pakistan will play the home series against New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka, it will be interesting to watch which teams will travel to Pakistan to play the series, or they will happen in UAE. While Pakistan will play away games against England, West Indies and Bangladesh. 

South Africa 

South Africa will play away games against India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The team will start its 4th WTC cycle with an away series against India in the second half of 2025. while the team will play home games against Australia, England and Bangladesh. 

Sri Lanka 

Sri Lanka will play its home games against India, South Africa and Bangladesh, while the away games will be played in New Zealand, West Indies and Pakistan. 

West Indies 

West Indies will play home matches against Australia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, while it will play its away games against New Zealand, India and Bangladesh.

In the ongoing word test Championship 2023-25 cycle, we are yet to get our finalists. South Africa is in the most comfortable position to reach the finals, and there is a tough race between India and Australia to secure the second spot if we don't see a big and unexpected turnaround.
