Schedule for Pakistan's Test series against West Indies confirmed

Schedule for Pakistan's Test series against West Indies confirmedCricket West Indies (CWI) has announced the schedule for the upcoming two-Test series against Pakistan, set to begin on July 25 at Brian Lara Cricket Academy. Following the first game, the two teams will travel to Port of Spain for the next Test, which will start on August 2.

Pakistan vs West Indies in recent times

This will be Pakistan's first Test tour of the Caribbean since 2021, when they drew the two-match series 1-1. Following that tour, the two sides played a couple of Tests in Pakistan during the last World Test Championship cycle in January last year. However, the result of that tour was the same.

Both teams will look to break the deadlock, as Pakistan and West Indies currently occupy the bottom places in the WTC points table. West Indies, who are yet to win a game in eight red-ball matches this cycle, sit below Pakistan, who have one win to show for it in four games. However, with the WTC racing to its end, the margin of error has thinned further.

This will be Pakistan's first of two away Test series they are scheduled to play in the July to September window. Following the Caribbean tour, the side will fly to England to play a three-match red-ball series, set to begin on August 19.
