Ahead of the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, the Indian women’s cricket team will play a three-match T20I series against England Women starting on May 28. The series will act as preparation for the World Cup, with matches to be played in Chelmsford, Bristol and Taunton on May 28, May 30 and June 2. While the hosts will come into the series without their regular skipper, Nat Sciver-Brunt, who is racing against time to get fit for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, India Women are coming with a fully fit squad at their disposal, including Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Jemima Rodrigues and others.

The Women in Blue started the series on a high, registering a 97-run win in Nottingham and doubled the joy with the win in the second T20I in Bristol. The English side, however, bounced back in the third T20I, registering a 5-run win at The Oval; Harmanpreet Kaur & Co clinched the series with a comfortable 6-wicket win in Manchester.
