Women's T20 World Cup: Updated points table after South Africa stun India, Pakistan eliminated
The race in Group 1 has taken an interesting turn, and that too after two teams have been eliminated. On Saturday, Bangladesh got past Pakistan to eliminate them from the competition, with two games to spare. After losing to India and South Africa, it was their third straight loss against Bangladesh.
Besides them, Netherlands, who have also not had any win in three games, are also out of the semi-finals race. Despite that, the group is wide open. Australia, India, South Africa, and Bangladesh all have decent chances of finishing among the top two. Australia are currently the only unbeaten team in the group, after India's unbeaten streak was ended by South Africa on Sunday.
The situation in Group 2 isn't as complex. England and West Indies have yet to lose a match after winning three, which puts a significant gap between them and third-placed New Zealand, who have only one win.
