Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 Qualification: Nepal to Host Qualifiers from Jan 18 to Feb 1

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 will start in a few months. It will have 12 teams, but the names of 4 teams are still not decided.

Now, on Wednesday, the apex cricket body came up with the schedule for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup qualifier that will be played in Nepal from Jan 18 to Feb 1. From there, only four teams will progress to the main tournament, which will be hosted by England & Wales in June and July.

The qualifiers will start with warm-up matches, which will be played from January 14 to 16. The main matches will be held in two grounds, Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground and Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground.

In this format, the top three teams from each group will move on to the Super 6 stage. The matches that decide the four qualifying teams will be played on January 28, January 30, and February 1.
