The Papua New Guinea men's national cricket team, nicknamed the Barramundis, is the official team of the nation. Cricket PNG organizes the team, which has been an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1973. The team first gained One-Day International (ODI) status in 2014 but lost it in 2018 before regaining it by finishing in the top four of the 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two.
