The Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 is set to begin on September 30. India will host the tournament, but as part of a special agreement between the BCCI and the PCB, Pakistan’s matches will be played in Colombo.
The tournament will kick off on September 30 with India’s women’s team facing Sri Lanka at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. One of the most awaited matches India vs Pakistan, will take place on October 5 at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Australia, the current champions, will begin their tournament by playing against New Zealand on October 1 at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. After that, they’ll face Pakistan on October 8 in Colombo. One of the most awaited matches will be against their old rivals, England, which will take place on October 22, again in Indore.
Women’s ODI World Cup 2025: Match Venues, Knockout Dates, and Final Details
The Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 will have a total of 28 league matches. After the group stage, there will be three knockout games to decide the winner. The matches will take place in five cities Bengaluru, Indore, Guwahati, Visakhapatnam, and Colombo.
The first semi-final of the tournament is set for October 29, and it will take place either in Guwahati or Colombo. If Pakistan makes it to the knockouts, the match will be held in Colombo. The second semi-final will happen the next day, on October 30. The grand final is scheduled for November 2 and will be played in either Bengaluru or Colombo, depending on the teams that qualify.
