Team India to Depart for Dubai on February 15, Champions Trophy Campaign Begins on February 20

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will start on February 19, and the matches of the tournament will take place in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. It is one of the most important tournaments of the One Day International format and this time eight teams will fight for the title. Pakistan, the current champion, will play its matches in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi while all of India's matches will be played in Dubai in the UAE. 

According to reports, Team India is scheduled to depart from Mumbai to Dubai on February 15 to prepare for their Champions Trophy campaign. Their first match is on February 20 against Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. In fact, India will not be playing any warm-up matches before the tournament as there are no practice teams available. This decision simply shows that the team is confident with the amount of work they have done and is ready to go into the tournament.

The match between India and Pakistan on 23 February in Dubai is among the best of the group stages. The teams have had several exciting close games in the past. Pakistan has won the Champions Trophy one time, and India has won twice.

Rohit Sharma’s Return to Form Boosts India’s Confidence

Indian captain Rohit Sharma has come back in great form before the tournament. In the last one-day match against England, he hit 119 runs off 90 balls. This performance has relieved all the concerns that were going around regarding his recent batting woes and boosted the team's morale as they prepare for the Champions Trophy.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) is going to announce the prize money for the Champions Trophy 2025 soon. The tournament will be concluded with the final on March 9. If India makes it to the final, it will be held in Dubai; otherwise, Lahore will host the final match. As the cricketing world awaits this event, teams are finalizing their preparations to compete at the highest level.
