Sahibzada Farhan’s century takes him to the top of the T20 World Cup run-scorers list

Sahibzada Farhan’s century takes him to the top of the T20 World Cup run-scorers listPakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan is now the highest run-scorer of the ongoing T20 World Cup. Farhan reached the top spot with an unbeaten 58-ball century against Namibia, which helped Pakistan set a 200-run target in a must-win game.

This was also his first century in the T20I format, with a previous best of 80* against Sri Lanka, which he scored in November last year. He is also only the second Pakistan batter to score a T20 World Cup century, with Ahmed Shehzad, who hit one against Bangladesh in the 2014 edition, being the other.

Most runs and most sixes in 2026 T20 World Cup

The right-handed batter has scored 220 runs across four World Cup games, while striking at a rate of 164. His tally includes a 31-ball 47 against Netherlands in the tournament opener and 73 off 41 deliveries against the USA, for which he was awarded the Player of the Match.

Additionally, Sahibzada has the most sixes in this edition of the World Cup, 11, followed closely by Ishan Kishan and Shimron Hetmyer, both of whom have hit 10 sixes so far.

At the time of writing, only one spot for the Super Eight stage remains, and the Pakistan vs Namibia game will decide which team goes ahead. Currently, the USA are in second place, but if Pakistan get over the line in today’s game, they will proceed.
