List of all Captains and Coaches announced for PSL 11

List of all Captains and Coaches announced for PSL 11The eleventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is just a week away, with teams gearing up to lift the trophy. For the first time, eight teams, including Multan Sultans, Hyderabad Kingsmen, Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Pindiz, Quetta Gladiators, and Lahore Qalandars, will compete across six venues.

New and old captains

With the squads almost completed, teams have announced their captains and coaching staff. Teams like Peshawar, Karachi, Islamabad, Quetta, and Lahore have retained their captains from the previous season.

On the other hand, debutant franchises Hyderabad and Pindiz, along with the rebranded Multan, have named new captains for the season.

Australian presence among PSL captains

The presence of Australian players is also significant among the captains, with three franchises appointing Australian leaders: Ashton Turner (Multan Sultans), Marnus Labuschagne (Hyderabad Kingsmen), and David Warner (Karachi Kings).

The same is true for the coaching departments. Barring Quetta’s Moin Khan, all other head coaches are foreign, with two from Australia, Tim Paine and Jason Gillespie, and one each from England, New Zealand, South Africa, and West Indies.
