2026 T20 World Cup: Updated Super Eights schedule after Pakistan’s qualification
Pakistan have reached the Super Eights of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup after defeating Namibia by 102 runs in their final group stage game.
Groups and semi-final scenarios
They are the last team to qualify for the next round and will join England, Sri Lanka and New Zealand in Group 2.
Group 1 will feature India, Zimbabwe, South Africa and West Indies.
Each team will play the others in their group once, with the top two sides from each group progressing to the semi-finals, which begin on March 4.
If Pakistan advance beyond this stage, the hybrid model will come into effect. In that scenario, their semi-final will be played in Colombo instead of Kolkata.
Similarly, the final will be held in either Colombo or Ahmedabad, depending on Pakistan’s qualification.
