SA20 2025-26 Full Schedule: Season Begins Dec 26 With MI Cape Town vs Durban’s Super Giants

The fourth season of SA20 isn’t too distant away and is set to go on December 26 in Newlands, Cape Town. As many as six teams are set to compete for the final title, which will take place on January 25, 2026. The location of that particular event has yet to be determined. In terms of format, it is quite similar to that of the IPL.

All the teams are to play each other twice, followed by qualifier 1, Eliminator, qualifier 2, and finally the final match. The total number of matches, therefore, is 26. The schedule has been explained as to how the SA20 2025‑26 schedule has been designed.

Aiden Markram (born Oct 4, 1994) is a South African right-handed batting all-rounder, known for captaining SA U-19 to a World Cup win and SA's T20 WC 2024 victory, serving as SA's current Test Vice-Captain/T20 Captain, and playing for teams like the Titans, Durham, Sunrisers Hyderabad (IPL), and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in leagues, renowned for his strong Test debuts with centuries and impact in franchise cricket.

On the other hand, the SA20 auction took place on September 10, in which batter Dewald Brevis was the costliest player, and he got auctioned to Pretoria Capitals at 8.3 Cr. Even Aiden Markram got auctioned at such a high rate, which was 7.52 Cr, in the auction of Durban’s Super Giants.
