Rashid Khan Becomes the First Bowler to Take 700 T20 Wickets, Full List of Top Wicket-Takers
On Monday, February 16, during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 group match between Afghanistan and UAE at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, Rashid Khan achieved a huge milestone. The Afghanistan captain achieved the milestone of becoming the first bowler to take 700 wickets in T20 cricket.
Rashid Khan needed two more wickets to achieve the milestone. He achieved the milestone when he got Muhammad Arfan out in the 16th over of the UAE innings.
