Pakistani Fan Cheers for Virat Kohli After Tri-Series Final in Karachi

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is set to kick off on February 19, with warm-up matches scheduled from February 14 to 17. Hosts Pakistan will face New Zealand in the opening match at the National Stadium in Karachi.
Ahead of the much-anticipated clash between India and Pakistan in the Champions Trophy on February 23 in Dubai, an unexpected scene unfolded outside the National Stadium Karachi in Pakistan.
Instead of the usual cheers for Pakistan's players, fans in green were seen shouting "Virat Kohli Zindabad" and “RCB! RCB!” outside National Stadium Karachi after the tri-series final against New Zealand.

In that viral video, a young fan was wearing an RCB jersey and he shouted, "I am Virat Kohli!". Another fan said, “I’m from Pakistan, but I support Virat Kohli.” These fans' excitement shows how Kohli's energy and passion have won fans across the border.
The 36-year-old holds the record for the most runs in international cricket among active players and has the most hundreds as well. He broke the 'God of Cricket' Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 50 ODI centuries during the World Cup semi-final 2023.
