PAK vs BAN 3rd T20I Highlights: Pakistan Seals 3-0 Series Sweep with Dominant Seven-Wicket Win Over Bangladesh in 3rd T20I

PAK vs BAN 3rd T20I Highlights: Pakistan Seals 3-0 Series Sweep with Dominant Seven-Wicket Win Over Bangladesh in 3rd T20IMohammad Haris stole the show with his first-ever T20I century as Pakistan outclassed Bangladesh by seven wickets in the final T20I at the Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday, sealing a 3-0 series sweep in style. Chasing a tough target of 197, Pakistan had a rocky start with opener Sahibzada Farhan falling early for just 1 run in the opening over, dismissed by Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

The home team quickly found their rhythm as Mohammad Haris and Saim Ayub put together a strong partnership. Both kept the scoreboard ticking with regular boundaries helping Pakistan reach 56 for 1 after six overs. The duo added 92 runs for the second wicket playing aggressive and smooth cricket while chasing the target. Their partnership ended when Tanzim Hasan got Saim out for 45 off 29 balls leaving Pakistan at 100 for 2 in just under 10 overs.

Even after losing Saim, Pakistan kept things steady with Mohammad Haris holding things together and hitting his first T20I fifty when the score was 115 for 2 after 11 overs. Hasan Nawaz came in and made an impact quickly smashing two boundaries as Pakistan pushed to finish the series 3-0. But Mehidy Hasan struck again, getting Hasan Nawaz out for 26 off just 13 balls leaving Pakistan at 137 for 3 in 12.5 overs.

Unfazed by the wickets falling around him, Haris kept dominating the Bangladesh bowlers, effortlessly smashing boundaries and sixes. His brilliant innings ended with his first T20I century, reached in just 45 balls. Haris stayed not out on 107 off 46 deliveries, hitting eight fours and seven sixes. Meanwhile, captain Agha chipped in with a quick 14 off 11 balls as Pakistan comfortably chased down the target in 17.1 overs.

Parvez Hossain Emon’s Quickfire Half-Century

After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Bangladesh’s openers got off to a strong and aggressive start, putting pressure on Pakistan’s bowlers. Tanzid Hasan and Parvez Hossain Emon built a solid partnership adding 53 runs without losing a wicket in the powerplay. Emon was in great form, hitting plenty of boundaries, while Tanzid supported him well by keeping the strike rotating smoothly. Parvez raced to a fantastic T20I half-century off just 27 balls, helping Bangladesh reach 80 without loss in eight overs.

The pair kept up their strong form taking the score to a 100-run opening partnership by the 11th over, smashing boundaries off Faheem Ashraf’s bowling. But Faheem finally broke through, getting Tanzid Hasan out for 42 runs off 32 balls, which included three boundaries and three sixes. The score was 110 for 1 at 10.4 overs. Soon after, Shadab Khan struck dismissing Parvez Hossain Emon for a brilliant 66 off 34 balls leaving Bangladesh at 113 for 2 in 11.1 overs.

Bangladesh skipper Litton Das came to the crease alongside Towhid Hridoy, and the two added some valuable runs. Hridoy started off aggressively to keep the momentum going, while Das played a more steady and supportive role. Together, they pushed Bangladesh past the 150-run mark by the 15th over mixing in boundaries with smart strike rotation to keep the scoreboard ticking.

Hasan Ali finally broke the partnership by dismissing Das for 22 runs off 18 balls at 162 for 3 in 16.3 overs. Shamim Hossain made an immediate impact with two quick boundaries, but Abbas Afridi soon sent him back after he scored 8 off 4 balls. Bangladesh were 171 for 4 in 17.3 overs. In the final overs, Jakeer Ali came through with important late runs hitting back-to-back boundaries off Faheem Ashraf and helping Bangladesh post their highest T20I total against Pakistan. Hasan Ali returned for the last over and took his second wicket by dismissing Mehidy Hasan Miraz for just one run leaving Bangladesh at 184 for 6. The innings ended with Jakeer Ali unbeaten on 15 off 9 balls and Tanzim Hasan Sakib adding eight off three deliveries.
