Match Officials Confirmed for ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 Semi-Finals in Guwahati and Navi Mumbai

Match Officials Confirmed for ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 Semi-FinalsThe International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the match officials for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup semi-finals, where the top four teams will compete for a spot in the final later this week. The first semi-final will be played in Guwahati on October 29 between England and South Africa with Eloise Sheridan and Jacquline Williams serving as the on-field umpires for this important match.

Sheridan has already officiated matches involving both teams in the group stage, including England’s big 10-wicket win over South Africa and South Africa’s win against Pakistan. Williams has also been the umpire in several games for both sides such as South Africa’s strong wins over India and Bangladesh and England’s victory against India and their loss to Australia.

Vrinda Rathi will be the third umpire, Claire Polosak will serve as the fourth umpire and GS Lakshmi will be the match referee. The second semi-final will be held at Dr DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on October 30, where Australia will take on hosts India in a much-awaited match. Lauren Agenbag and Sue Redfern will be the on-field umpires for this game. Agenbag has already officiated several of India’s group-stage matches, including those against Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh.

Redfern was also part of the umpiring team during Australia’s record run chase against India earlier in the tournament. Kim Cotton will be the third umpire, Nimali Perera will serve as the fourth umpire, and Michell Pereira will be the match referee. England, coming off a big win over New Zealand, finished second in the group stage and will face South Africa in the first semi-final. Meanwhile, unbeaten Australia topped the table and will play against India, who claimed the final semi-final spot by finishing fourth.
