ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 Final: Date, Teams, Venue, Match Timings, Live Streaming and Prize Money

ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 Final: Date, Teams, Venue, Match Timings, Live Streaming and Prize MoneyBy defeating the Australian women's team in the semi-finals of the Women's World Cup 2025, India has not only secured a place in the final but also secured a prize money of crores of rupees. With a record run-chase of 339 runs, the Indian women's team has now pocketed a sum of approximately 20 crore rupees (19,85,39,040 rupees).

The Harmanpreet Kaur-led team is not satisfied with this amount. Their dream is to defeat South Africa in the final and win the Women's World Cup for the first time. If India succeeds in this, they will be awarded approximately 40 crore rupees (39,70,91,520 rupees) for winning the World Cup, as per the new ICC rules.

116 crore rupees will be divided among the eight teams.

Now, the women's and men's teams receive equal prize money for winning and finishing runner-up in the World Cup. The ICC has announced a record increase in the prize money for this Women's World Cup. The total prize money for this tournament, being held in India and Sri Lanka, has been set at US$13.88 million, or approximately ₹116 crore (approximately $1.16 billion). This represents a 297% increase compared to the previous edition, played in New Zealand in 2022.

The total prize amount was $3.5 million at that point. This Women's World Cup's prize amount exceeds the men's World Cup in 2023, which had a pot of $10 million at that time. This decision forms part of the ICC's "Gender Pay Parity Policy," which strives to amend debts of equal monetary recognition for players in male and female tournaments.

How much will Australia and England receive?
