Latest ICC T20 Rankings: Hardik Leads All-Rounders, Abhishek & Tilak Shine in Batting

Latest ICC T20 Rankings: Hardik Leads All-Rounders, Abhishek & Tilak Shine in BattingNew Zealand speedster Jacob Duffy became the top-ranked T20I bowler after his team’s dominant 4-1 series triumph against Pakistan. In the series against the Salman Agha-led squad, Duffy grabbed 13 wickets and ended as the highest wicket-taker. Owing to his stellar performance in the five-match contest, Duffy ascended to the pinnacle of the bowler’s rankings.

The 30-year-old replaced West Indies spinner Akeal Hosein at the top. He climbed seven places last week to be ranked joint-fifth alongside Adam Zampa, and during the middle of the series, the pacer surpassed Wanindu Hasaranga, Adil Rashid, Varun Chakravarthy, and Hosein to claim the number-one spot.

His teammate Ben Sears has also made strides in the rankings. He surged 21 positions to reach number 46. Among batters, Tim Seifert secured a career-best-equalling eighth place. He was exceptional in the final T20I of the series, hammering an unbeaten 97 runs off just 38 balls. Thanks to his explosive innings, the Black Caps clinched the match by eight wickets. Meanwhile, his opening partner Finn Allen has gained a spot and now sits at number 15 on the table.

Mark Chapman, one of New Zealand’s most consistent performers in the series, leaped 24 spots to number 78. Among Pakistan players, Salman Agha has advanced six places to 37th after a crucial knock of 58.

Indian Players Shine in Latest T20 Ranking

India's mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy has slipped to third place in the ICC Men's T20 bowling rankings with 706 rating points. Leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi (674) and left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh (653) are the other Indian bowlers in the top 10, ranking seventh and 10th, respectively, while Axar Patel sits in 13th place.

In the batting rankings, young opener Abhishek Sharma holds the second spot, followed by Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav in fourth and fifth place, respectively. Among all-rounders, Hardik Pandya continues to dominate at the top with 252 rating points.
