RCB announced a compensation of 10 lakh rupees for the families of those who died in the tragedy. They also promised to provide medical support to the injured. The Karnataka government stepped in as well and announced 25 lakh rupees compensation for the families who lost their loved ones.
Will BCCI Ban RCB?
IPL teams are businesses, but they have to follow rules from BCCI. These rules include keeping people safe. Right now, there is an investigation about the stampede in Bangalore. If RCB broke any rules, BCCI might have to take strong action, like banning the team. This has happened before with Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals when they were banned for two years because of spot-fixing. So, banning RCB is possible if they are found guilty.
But the rumours saying BCCI has already decided to ban RCB, or that IPL unfollowing RCB on Instagram means a ban is coming, are not true. BCCI can’t ban RCB without a proper investigation. They will check everything carefully before making any decision.
