Mumbai Indians are the most valuable Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, as per a report. The team onwer is Reliance head (Mukesh Ambani), it has been top 3 form since IPL season start. MI becoming the most valuable IPL team comes at a time when the BCCI has seen a big drop in the overall IPL brand value ahead of the 2026 season.

According to the Finance Annual Report, MI is the top with 108$ milllion and second is the Chennai Super Kings and third is Royal Challengers Bengaluru are the most valuable franchises. The least valuable team are one-time champions Rajasthan Royals (RR) at $53 million. The report said that the tensions between India and Pakistan in May were a major reason why the IPL and its teams lost brand value.

RCB is the most valued team in the last season,now value has dropped by 10% to USD 105 million. Brand value dropped by 24% to USD 93 million (INR 83.57 crore approximately). Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders were hit even harder. Their brand values dropped by 35%, 34%, and 33%. The only team that saw an increase was Gujarat Titans, and it was just a small 2% rise.
