IPL 2026 Most Runs and Most Wickets after GT's batting firepower helped them beat Rajasthan Royals

The Gujarat Titans have put up a remarkable performance and won their game against the Rajasthan Royals by 77 runs in IPL 2026 Match 52 held at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan started the game with a fantastic opening of 118 runs, scoring 84 and 55 runs respectively. Gujarat Titans finished their innings with a score of 229/4.

The batting of Rajasthan Royals failed miserably in their chase. The young batsman, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, had an impressive inning scoring 36 runs from only 15 balls. However, other batters had poor performances as Kagiso Rabada claimed two wickets and Rashid Khan took four wickets. The Rajasthan Royals ended up losing their game as their team was dismissed at 152.

This match has resulted in the update of the IPL 2026 leaderboard. The Orange Cap is still on Heinrich Klaasen, but Gill and Sudharsan have come up close second. Kagiso Rabada won the Purple Cap after he overtook Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who had been holding it. Furthermore, Rashid Khan rose to sixth place in the wicket table.
