Chennai Super Kings (CSK) made a few important signings at the IPL 2026 auction held in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday. The five-time champions surprised many by spending big on uncapped Indian players Kartik Sharma and Prashant Veer, buying both for Rs. 14.2 crore each.

CSK also strengthened their all-round options by picking up Aman Khan and Australia’s Matthew Short, adding more balance to the squad. To boost their bowling attack, CSK brought in New Zealand fast bowlers Matt Henry and Zak Foulkes, giving their pace unit extra strength for the upcoming season.
