Matthew Short
Matthew Short is a 30-year-old Australian cricketer born on November 8, 1995, in Ballarat, Victoria. As an all-rounder, he bats right-handed and bowls off-spin. Professionally, he is a key player for the Adelaide Strikers and has represented Australia internationally, winning the BBL Player of the Tournament award twice. Personally, he is engaged to swimmer Madison Wilson and they have a son.
In the 2026 season, Matthew Short also represent the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL, as well as Welsh Fire in The Hundred and the San Francisco Unicorns in MLC.

Maiden T20 Hundred: Scored his first T20 century (100* off 59 balls) in January 2023 during the highest successful run chase in BBL history.
Maiden T20I Five-wicket Haul: Recorded an impressive 5 for 22 in a T20I against England in September 2024, the third-best T20I figures for an Australian bowler.
