IPL 2025: Eden Gardens to Host Opening & Final Matches, Rajiv Gandhi Stadium for Playoffs
According to the reports from the cricbuzz, the Indian Premier League is ready to kick off on March 21. The Kolkota Kighnt Rieders home venue, Eden Gardens will host both the first and grand final matches. The playoffs will be held at the Sunrieses Hyderbad home venue, Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
In IPL 2025 there were a total of 74 matches. All ten teams are planning to have a face-off in 14 games they have seven games in their home venues and seven games away from home.
The four best teams from all those league games get a chance to compete against each other on the qualifiers and then only two teams can reach the finals on May 25.

In the recent updates from the BCCI, the Indian Premier League (IPL) will include the new rules. All the players have to play by the rules set by the International Cricket Council (ICC). A major decision was approved by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in the General Council meeting on Sunday.
All ten teams have focused on creating their balanced squads with experienced international players with promising domestic talent to play IPL 2025.
