India is set to commence their World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 campaign on June 20, 2025, with a challenging five-match Test series in England. The opening series of India's WTC campaign will be the England tour, where they will compete in the newly introduced Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. This five-match series will take place from June 20 to August 4, 2025, with matches scheduled in Leeds, Birmingham, London, and Manchester.

After a two-month break, India will host their first home series of the new cycle against the West Indies in October 2025. The two-match series will begin in Ahmedabad and conclude in Delhi.

In November 2025, the current WTC champions, South Africa, will visit India for another two-match series. The first Test will be held in Kolkata, followed by the second Test in Guwahati.

In August 2026, India will travel to Sri Lanka for a two-match Test series, their first tour of the island nation since 2017. Later in the year, India will visit New Zealand for a two-match series in October-November 2026.

India's WTC cycle will conclude in early 2027 with a five-match Test series against Australia at home, competing for the prestigious Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT).
