Indian Team Reached Brisbane After an Extra Day of Practice at Adelaide. Watch Videos!

After a shameful defeat in the day-night test match against Australia, India has gone into beast mode to ensure there is no room for error in the next test match. The Indian team spent an extra day in Adelaide, practising the whole day on the ground.
India lost the second test match at Adelaide with a ten-wicket defeat; India got all out for 180 in the first Indian 175 in the second inning, and with Australia's first inning, 300+ being scored, India was only able to set a tiny target of 19 runs in front of Australia. Travis Head became the match's hero with his 140 in Australia's first innings, while on the bowling side, Mitchell Starc performed his career best in the first inning, and Pat Cummins took a five-wicket haul in the second innings. This loss raised many questions and concerns about team India's recent performance, not just in this Border Gavaskar trophy but also in the defeat against New Zealand at home.
Some Extra Hard Work
In the extra practice session, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin were seen bowling in the nets. Along them were Virat Kohli, Subhman Gill, Rohit Sharma, and other batters batting in the nets. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were seen practising defence shots while Rishabh Pant was playing cover drives; Yashasvi Jaiswal hit some big shots.
It is time to look ahead.

Flight To Brisbane
After the intense practice session, the team reached Brisbane the next day; in the upcoming test, some changes are expected from the Indian side. The team might drop Harshit Rana after his bad performance in the second game, and Akashdeep could get a chance in the team. While the experts have mixed opinions about Rohit Sharma's batting position, a few experts are asking Rohit to open again. At the same time, some want Rohit Sharma to sacrifice his position and let KL Rahul open the inning.

The third test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy will be played from 14 to 18 December in Brisbane. The last time India played here, it became the first team to defeat Australia at the Gabba. That game rests in the golden books of Cricket history, where an injured team facing an Australian pacer won the match.
