India vs South Africa Women’s World Cup 2025 Final: Ticket Booking, Prices, and Match Date Details
The final match of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 between India and South Africa will be played on Sunday, November 2, at the DY Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Fans are extremely excited about the grand finale, and because of this, all the tickets for the title clash were sold out within minutes. After tickets sold out, disappointed fans expressed their anger on social media, while a huge crowd gathered outside the DY Patil Sports Stadium.
Tickets for the Women’s ODI World Cup final went live on BookMyShow on the afternoon of Saturday, November 1, and were sold out within just a few minutes, leaving fans frustrated. According to reports, ticket booking on the official ticketing partner BookMyShow had not started until October 31, and then suddenly, all tickets were sold out on November 1. This sudden unavailability has angered fans.
Earlier, on October 22 at 12 noon, BookMyShow had announced on social media platform X that ticket sales for the Women’s World Cup final would begin at 6 PM that evening. This special pre-sale was supposed to take place between October 22–24, while general sales were to start at 7 PM on October 24. Although some fans managed to book tickets during that period, what happened afterward left many angry with BookMyShow, BCCI, and ICC.
Final match tickets never appeared live
Since India and South Africa qualified for the final, ticket sales on the platform never actually went live. Instead, both on the BookMyShow app and website, users only saw the message “Coming Soon.” This continued until October 31.
On Saturday, November 1, when fans tried booking tickets for the final, BookMyShow showed the message “Sold Out,” which led to disappointment and outrage. While tickets priced at ₹150 were either sold out or unavailable due to technical issues, tickets priced at ₹7,500 (likely for VIP boxes) appeared available on the site but could not be booked even after multiple attempts.
Fans appeal to BCCI
According to a TOI report, tickets for the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 final were allegedly sold out as early as October 24, eight days before November 1. That was the same day when general sales began, even before India had confirmed its place in the final. Frustrated fans took to social media platform X to accuse BookMyShow of ticket mismanagement and urged the BCCI to intervene.
Fans also claimed that ticket prices, which were originally between ₹150 and ₹500, had been significantly increased just two days before the event. Meanwhile, a large crowd was seen outside the DY Patil Stadium, with several videos on social media showing long queues of fans waiting for tickets.+
